A start of a new chapter for Emma

In four days my little Emma, you will be in school and all kinds of nerves are running trough me!

As I sign paper after paper for your VPK class I sit and ask myself (Am I really gonna do this?) (Should I let her go?)

Of course I know I'm not the only parent out there who has asked these questions!

But I know I have to let you grow and become a bit independent! But let's face it Emma your only 4 going on 5 in three months.

I never thought about this moment.....scratch that I have but I thought about it in the distant future......and is here.....is NOW!!!!!

Is 3 hours a day for a week and is only for a year (because I did decide to homeschool you and Seylah after this) Regardless that fact I am still a nervous wreck!

I know Seylah and I will adjust perhaps me more quickly then her. But I believe that Seylah needs this time away from you and more attention on her. And I also believe that you need time to experience time without us.

So I pray.....and that's all I can do now.....is pray!

I know that God will give me the strenght and peace that I need to let you go.

And as I get ready this week with making your short and skirt because apparently there are no stores that carries a 4T black skirt or short right now.

Don't judge me this is new to me okay!

I know it was a bit late but to my defense I didn't know until last week that I needed all these things.

Anyways I can't wait to take pictures of your first day of VPK! I may even do a little photo shoot!:D

I found this prayer on pinterent, she actually has a 5 day prayer and I just want to add a bit to it.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you, Lord, that you are near to all who call on you in truth. You fulfill the desires of those who fear you; you hear their cries and save them. Thank you God for watching over all who love you (Psalm 145:18-20) Now I pray that Emma would not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, that she would present her requests to you, God. And I pray that your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:6-7) For you, o Lord, are righteous in all your ways and faithful in all you do. May our mouths speak in praise of you, and may every creature praise your holy name for ever and ever. (Psalm 145:17, 21) Lord guard her mind and her heart! Protect her from harm and may she learn and have a great time. In Jesus name...
Amen
