A new place called home....or the making of it!

I know...I know it's been like forever since I've written!
Well you see life got in the way! Apartment hunting is not easy!!!!
I have been wanting to write what's been happening lately in our lives, for example Seylah you finally went potty on the toilet 2 weeks ago.....you haven't gone ever since, but I could say you actually did it! You are both talking more, and Seylah your speech is getting clear.

So we found an apartment near your daddy's job, which we love because he gets to come home sooner!
Although the location is perfect, it's an adjustment when it comes to size! Coming from a 3 bedroom and a loft to a small 2 bedroom apartment....but God is good! And we don't lack in the essentials.
They say that the first couple of months of moving is the toughest!
I can totally relate right now.....it feels like I'm never gonna see the light at the end of the tunnel! But never the less you keep moving forward!

You both have been doing funny and cute things, and I can't describe all of them but I can tell you that you have me laughing even when I'm upset at you both. Sometimes I don't know weather to punish you both or laugh...or both LOL!

Sometimes I think of going back to writing in the notebook may be better, especially now that we have no Internet...you don't know what you miss until is gone! Although I can go to the club house which is we're I'am now to use the computer, but it's so hard because you girls are like thing 1 and thing 2 and I have to bring something to capture your attention while I gottta do what I gotta do. Or just wait for the weekend do your daddy can be with you girls and I can have some me time to write :)

Anyways I can't wait to see what this future has for our little family here in Florida. I really can't wait to find the right church for us and plug in. There is so much I want to do with you girls I hope we can get it done.

Well that's it for today I'll be writing soon!

Love you girls

My little model

Before we left Illinois....actually in the middle of the last days of packing Emma, you found an umbrella, but it wasn't an ordinary one it was your baby shower one made of lace and had a bunch of baby embellishments on it. So I took all of the embellishments out and I dress you girls up and we headed to the place I loved taking pictures of you girls....the bike path (oh how I miss the little things)
And Emma you were a natural, usually Seylah you are ready to for the camera, but that day the camera was on you Emma.
I had so much fun taking pictures of you girls, the neighbors were probably used to me being out there with my camera (probably saying...oh there she goes again)! I do love taking pictures of you girls!
What's funny is that I was in a hurry that day...I don't remember why, but Emma you were eating something and I didn't clean your mouth before I took the pictures, you may not even notice it on the pictures, but now that I mention it you probably will.
So without further ado here is my little model Emma!
Seylah don't feel left out I got a few of you too....that day was just not your day :(

Until next time!

Love always

Getting older

Seylah you are such a little jokester, yeah you don't talk clear sometimes but we can understand what you mean and you make the funniest faces! I can't describe it, but those who have seen it can't help but laugh. You do talk a lot more now and say more sentences especially now that you are going to be around your cousins all the time I know you will be talking clearer in no time.
The other day you were sitting in time out and I heard you talking to yourself and you said "you hear me" which is something I tell you girls all the time after I scold you. But is so funny coming out of your mouth. And that's another thing you like to scold people, with that little finger of yours.
I mention before that you love eating, but OMG you are at your best when you are eating.....you have a happy eating dance....you still humm and say "yummm good" And I love that you pray before your meals....well I pray and you still say "mmmmem"
Seylita you are growing so fast I can't believe how fast you kids grow....in just a month you will be 2 years old.....how time flies!

Okay Emma I won't leave you behind. What can I say about my little diva/dare devil!
Well you are definitely talking A LOT more saying things that I didn't even know you knew and you surprise me almost everyday, there is not a day that goes by when I don't laugh at the things that you say.
I wish I can remember the things that you girls say....but the truth is that your mamma forgets a lot of things! All I can do is take lots of pictures and record to remember the things you girls do.
You are very affectionate and love giving hugs and kisses not to mention hitting too lol
And I can't believe you are going to be 3 in two months.

Talking about Birthdays...I can't wait to start on the decorations!!!! I don't have a lot of time left so I have to start soon....like yesterday, but this week I'm going to buy the fabrics. I love decorating for your birthdays...well decorating in general! It's a bit different because we are in a different place, so I gotta figure out where I'm going to celebrate it, the pool or my sister's house or if we have a place by that time!
Not sure but we shall see.

Well my loves I gotta go you are both wanting my attention and it's impossible to type.....the life of a busy mom! LOL

Love always

Living in Florida....Feels like vacation

It's been two weeks and two resorts and I'm tired, of vacationing......
Can that actually happened?
I guess because I just want to settled in one place and not live in a suitcase.

Although spending time with my family is awesome. And the first week it was just us four....oh and sinatra, now is a full house!
I miss my sinatra and I will miss my little crazy dog for a while.
Life as I know it wont be the same for a while until your daddy and I find a place to live and we are all together again. So these weeks to come are going to be challenging to say the least.

Ever since your daddy was laid off from work in December you girls have been bonding with him so much, and now is not only going to be rough on your daddy but I know it will be rough on you girls too, to adjust without daddy at home. But these are things that we have to do as grown ups sometimes. Sooner or later we will be in the same roof, and I just hope it comes soon.

Beside all the sappiness, we have been enjoying you girls so much, and all the things that you both do. It makes us mad but more than that it makes us laugh....even when we are trying to be stern (especially your dad) He is so soft with you  girls and now you both are saying "please" or "pretty please" and that just melts he's heart! It melts mines, but I don't give in as much as he does LOL!

WARNING!

THERE ARE LOTS OF PICTURES, PROCEED WITH CARE

Westgate Resort just us five...sinatra's first family vacation!

 Waiting for the train

Enjoying the train ride

After a long day...you couldn't stay up!

With our family at the Vistana Resort...

Playing monster with titi

The rest of these pictures are not how I like to post, there are just too many that I can't fix like I did the rest above...

Your girls found some new friends

This was supper cute! You called your self supper baby

And Seylah wanted to copy you

This was priceless....followed by a kiss right after

Over all I think you girls had plenty of fun. We all got a really cute color especially you girls....my legs finally got tanned LOL usually they are super white! You girls made some pool side friends, they even gave you Seylah some chips...what you love....food!
By the end of our vacation at both resorts, you girls were more and more brave in the pool...a bit scary for me, but nice to know that Emma more then Seylah was confident enough to jump to the water even in the deep side and you both started without the floaties.
It's funny when you are a kid you have no worries and going to the pool is so much fun, but when your an adult....there is so much to do just to get ready to go to the pool. Yeah life as a child is better when it comes to this!
So to top off the week we ate breakfast at Ihop and headed home (for us home is at my sister's house for a bit)

Okay that's it, I warned you....lots and lots of pictures....
More to come of our new journey to finding a home :)

Love always
Mom!
